XAALADA DADKA KA SOO BARAKACAY MUQDISHO EE KU SUGAN DEEGAANKA DEGMADA CADAADO GOBOLKA GALAGADUUD BARTAMAHA SOOMAALIYA

Degmada Cadaado waxay ka tirsan tahay Gobolka Galgaduud ee bartamaha Soomaaliya, waxay ka mid tahay degmooyinka ugu balaaran dhul ahaan iyo dad ahaamba Soomaaliya. Executive summary

This is a complete report token by general living condition in fled people from Mogadishu in Adado district. Adado district lays in Galgadud region, central Somalia, As well as its one of larges district in the country as communities and lands. The communities in Adado district their daily live depend on livestock 60%.

There is no functioning any or one of the its infrastructure 20 years past, there is no local administration that functioned well in the district in spite of this now there are many fled people from Somali capital Mogadishu to Adado district.

Adado has no river, also the sea is far and not have any ports, and hasn’t any manufactures, but passed the main road that connect with Somali capital Mogadishu and  north of Somalia, especial it is medial of Dhusamareb capital of Galgadud region and Galka’yo, Mudug region, in addition the district situated 83.KM north of Dusamareb and south Galka’yo 120 KM. 

East - A/waq

West – Hobyo

North – Dusamareb

South - Galka’yo

The count of the actual estimated are increased as the fled people came here, as token by the number of the displaced families in Adado last 8 months. And every day coming Adado district new displaced families from Mogadishu, who some of these are complete fled while others part of family coming here so that the family some are here  and other remains in Somali’ Capital Mogadishu.

These people displaced recently fighting and explosions who every time happens in Mogadishu and because the people who came to Adado there is no home such as: food, fresh water and medical cares. 

 Soojeed Relief and Development Organization in time had made busy to made observation actual living condition in currently displaced families in Adado. So that we met more different people who fled from Mogadishu. 

Abdi Nor Ahmed he is one of the refugee came from Mogadishu, we asked some question and he said, “I am 60 years old, and I have 21 child I stay three months in Adado district with out care. That cause with out financial and displacing problem.

Long time I have been  in Gedo region for that time, I was Somalia military of occupation Somali Dimocratic republic, some times he complying with about the weather and traditional systems for Adado district in this time.

One litter of milk cost $1 US  Dollor, one dram of water same as of $ one Dollor of US and he said “I don’t have capacity to buy those thinks, this morning the child ate the beans which they ate last night.    

Fartun Abdi Ali, is mother 20 years old, has 2 child, one of the child that is Nasteho one months only in world (one moths old) when her mother displaced has pregnant so that when she came in Adado, she birth this kids.

Furtun has complaining with, my breast hasn’t milk, and I have not any other milk so I don’t know what I give this kids, when she said that, an other girl that is two years old is cried, also these children their father remaining in Mogadishu, and I know where he is and we don’t have what we cover our needs so we emerge to dead, because we don’t have any thing” she said 

Ahmed Hussein Ahmed is 5 years old, his mother Farhiya Abdi connect with him in the tree in his leg right, because she don’t want to go far from home, seeking some of meal that she wants to give him, Ahmed is oldest of her children 

Sirad Ahmed Nur, grand mother she is angry every person who talk with her and fighting, she is leading five families fled from Mogadishu that her elder children and what they birth. When we asked her age she said angrily I don’t remember my age because of problem that faced in displacing situation.

For that time she showed us the empty blade that is not any thing in it until yesterday

Fa’isa Ahmed Ali two years old girl, and has sicken, now her mother is caring her health and emerge of to be nearly died. and her mother thinking where she can go and seeking medical care because Adado hasn’t medical care or functioning hospital

So that they don’t have any their daily live and also who already resident of Adado can’t cover the needs for these people and even as whole region Galgadud their daily live already depend on to their families in Mogadisho helpings who now displaced there. Thus the live of the people in Adado district whose already resident and new displaced families has starvation and malnutrition.

Khadijo Mohamed Faray is one of the fled families from Mogadishio now in Adado and she has 10 children but 8 are in Adado while 2 others and their father are in Mogadishu. And the live of here is very hard she said.

The displaced people in Adado needs humanitarian assistance to developing their future which they can survive if they have gotten, and they are following as:

First they are requiring emergence to replacement. Second they need meal. and pure water, medical and hospital.

Third, they also need to get what they cover their daily live (to get a work), forth, education and they also like to getting back all sectors and social services in Adado district.

Abdi Daahir, he is one of the run way people from Mogadishu and now he lives in Adado he said highly inside city of Adado “how the world can be head our needs or getting assistance from the international community or ask to contribute us so as to get better live” That time he said that he carrying some meal that have not enough for his families and also he thinking what will be next that he gives his children after when this meal ends

“If I don’t have a job is better to go back Mogadisho where I escaped during the heavy fighting” said Ja’mac Mohamed who is one of the displaced youth from Mogadisho and currently in Adado. When he said that its morning 11:30 Am. A day and he sleeping that time his bed, point out that you can’t stay with out work and repeated “This is not live”

Jama’ is 20 years old and his father Mohamed have been killed heavy fighting in Mogadishu April and May.

Salad Mo’alin “I am not intending to returning Mogadishu and even If I do so,  I do not know where to start. Our house has burnt and ruined to rubbles when several mortars and missiles hit it, here also the live is hard but at least you can survive.  

Hawo Hassan, I tell my kids who is boy and girl age to 8 and 10 years old  to explore people and collect some of Somali shillings that is the only way that we can survive. I fearing of the daily bomb explosions and gun battles in the city where insecurity is still compelling larger number of residents to escape.

 Since this region hasn’t attract local media and international. Is lowly going on the relief getting these infected people in this region since most of the international agencies don’t aware of the needs of these for displaced people. ICRC sometimes had distributive some of relief. Such as: meal, utensils, blankets, rain plastics.

Soojeed Relief and Development Organization has opened its head office in Adado, registration book to wards displaced people From Mogadishu in Adado and its neighboring area. Estimated total IDPs families in the district: 1.839 (one thousand eight hundred thirty nine), 800 in part of families we stated above in the city of Adado while others are neighboring small towns, and total  of fled people from Mogadishu in district are: 11,034 (eleven thousand thirty four)  persons, and most of them are women and children.    

The most areas that this fled people has arrived are: Adado, Godinlabe, Gidheys, Biyogaduud Bowda-dhogore, Xanabuure, Baxdo, Cadakibir and Haradhere.

The general situation in the fled in distric Adado that is very dangerous condition, and they waiting international community to give what they survive in this currently situation. So that we request as far as possible humanitarian assistance to help them.
